New Glarus Woods State Park

Just outside the city of New Glarus, visitors can stay at wooded, primitive campsites, hike along interpretive trails through prairie and forest, and enjoy the large playground and picnic area. The park connects to New Glarus and the Sugar River State Trail, a popular 24-mile rail trail for biking and hiking.
