Smileys Provincial Park

October 2026
About
Located close to the town of Windsor, this quiet campground on the Meander River offers easy access to the many cultural and natural attractions in the area. The area's abundant gypsum deposits have influenced the landscape and vegetation in and around the park. Campsites are nestled into a mix of forest and farmland habitats. Nodding Trillium, Ostrich Fern, and Black-eyed Susans can be found throughout the area. The park offers an 65-site campground (28 Wooded and 37 Open), comfort station (showers and flush toilets), dishwashing station, picnic area, playground, and hiking trails. Although there are no serviced sites, water taps, and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. Located 6 km (4 mi.) east of Brooklyn, Hants County just off Route 14.

Is Smileys Provincial Park fully booked?
A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.
CampHawk watches Smileys Provincial Park in Brooklyn, NS for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.
Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Smileys Provincial Park for cancellations is the paid part.
