About
Located at the intersection of the Carp and Ottawa Rivers about an hour outside of Ottawa, Fitzroy Provincial Park is ideal for families and those who love fishing.
The Day Use area has a sandy beach, flush toilets, picnic tables, and plenty of parking. There is also a playground, volleyball court, and grassy field for soccer or frisbee in this area. The park store offers canoe, kayak, and paddle board rentals plus camping supplies, ice, firewood, groceries, and ice cream. Fitzroy also has two great hiking trails with interpretive brochures. The Discovery program is a great opportunity for the whole family to learn about the park's natural environment.
Two campgrounds offer electrical, non-electrical, and waterfront sites. Two Rivers Campground has a small beach that is great for families with small children. The park has a group picnic site overlooking the upper Ottawa River.

Is Fitzroy Provincial Park fully booked?
A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.
CampHawk watches Fitzroy Provincial Park in Fitzroy Harbour, ON for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.
Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Fitzroy Provincial Park for cancellations is the paid part.
