About

Located on the shores of Lake Erie, Long Point offers campsites in 4 campgrounds.

The section generally called “New Park” includes three campgrounds: Monarch’s Rest, Firefly and Turtle Dunes, as well as the popular Day-Use area only steps away from the beach front.

Firefly Campground offers large pull-through sites equipped with electrical service. Located on the bay side of the campground, they are a short five-minute walk to the beach.

Monarch’s Rest and Turtle Dunes Campgrounds offers a mix of electric and non-electric sites that are able to accommodate a variety of equipment. The campsites, located in the dunes at the ends of the loops closest to the beach, offer a soft sandy base.

The Old Park section of Long Point includes Cottonwood Campground, a radio-free campground. The mix of electric and non-electric sites can accommodate a variety of equipment up to 18’.

Is Long Point Provincial Park fully booked?

A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.

CampHawk watches Long Point Provincial Park in Port Rowan, ON for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.

Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Long Point Provincial Park for cancellations is the paid part.
