Nagagamisis Provincial Park

October 2026
About
Nagagamisis Lake is at the centre of this quiet northern park. Surrounded by Boreal Forest, the lake’s name in the Cree language means “lake with fine, sandy shores”. The park offers both day use and car camping opportunities.
Known for excellent fishing, the lake also provides great boating and paddling opportunities for kayaks and canoes. For anglers, the boat launch area also has a fish cleaning hut and a smoker, and those with waterfront campsites can often pull their boat on shore near their campsite. The park rents motorboats, kayaks, and canoes. The campground lies on the southern shore of this 15 kilometre-long lake.
Car camping is available at two campgrounds in close proximity to hot showers, a laundromat, and flush toilets. No electrical sites are available. A number of campsites have easy access to waterfront. The day use area features a sand beach with a playground.

Is Nagagamisis Provincial Park fully booked?
A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.
CampHawk watches Nagagamisis Provincial Park in Hornepayne, ON for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.
Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Nagagamisis Provincial Park for cancellations is the paid part.
