Sandbar Lake Provincial Park

About
Sandbar Lake Provincial Park is located approximately 12 km north of the Trans-Canada Highway 17 from Ignace on Highway 599.
This park offers car camping, seasonal campsites, two group campsites, and day use opportunities.
A beautiful well-treed, small campground, this park's name exemplifies its character, through a range of natural sand bar formations which highlight numerous beaches around the lake including the park beach.
The park offers less than 80 campsites, about half of which have electricity. Campsites can accommodate equipment ranging from tents to large trailers. The two group campsites are more privately located in the northern section of the park. Campsites at Sandbar are partially shaded with some offering a tantalizing glimpse of the lake.
Park amenities include water taps, comfort stations (2) with flush toilets, showers and laundry facilities, park store, playground, picnic shelter, boat launch, dock, fish cleaning building, dog beach and pet exercise area, and trailer dump/fill station. Canoe, kayak and motorboat rentals are available.
Enjoy swimming, boating, great fishing and hiking during your visit.

Is Sandbar Lake Provincial Park fully booked?
A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.
CampHawk watches Sandbar Lake Provincial Park in Ignace, ON for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.
Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Sandbar Lake Provincial Park for cancellations is the paid part.
