About

Jàk Territorial Park is located just outside the town of Inuvik. There are 10 powered and 26 non-powered sites, that can accommodate a range of equipment types. Amenities include a shower facility, playground and a kitchen shelter (available for guest reservation). Park visitors can access hiking trails and climb the observation tower for panoramic views of the park. Considered a prime bird watching location, guests may see falcons, eagles and ducks during their stay. The park is also known for an abundance of tasty local berries; the name “Jàk” comes from the Gwich’in word for berry.

Is Jàk Territorial Park fully booked?

A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.

CampHawk watches Jàk Territorial Park in Inuvik, NT for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.
