The 60th Parallel Territorial Park is located along Highway 1 at the NWT/AB border adjacent to the iconic 60th Parallel welcome sign and visitor centre. The campground has nine non-powered campsites that can accommodate a range of equipment types.
Nestled among birch and aspen trees, overlooking the Hay River, this campground offers basic amenities including a shower facility, picnic area, and children’s playground. Hiking trails and a boat launch provide the opportunity to explore the area on land or by water. A great place to toss in a line and try your luck at catching dinner!
