About
Just a few kilometres from one of Nova Scotia's points of entry, Caribou-Munroes Island Provincial Park makes a marvelous stop on your way to or from Prince Edward Island. A mile long sand beach offers some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas and the campground provides excellent opportunities for camping, or just appreciating nature. The park offers a 95-site campground (39 Wooded, 21 Partially Wooded, 35 Open), comfort station (showers and flush toilets), dishwashing station, all gender/family accessible shower and flush toilet (Loop A), picnic areas, and an unsupervised beach. Serviced and Unserviced sites are offered. Water taps and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. Located 10 km (6 mi.) northeast of the junctions of Routes 6, 106, and 376 on Nova Scotia's Northumberland Shore, 4 km (2.5 mi.) east of the Caribou / Wood Islands (PEI) ferry wharf.

Is Caribou Munroes Provincial Park fully booked?
A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.
CampHawk watches Caribou Munroes Provincial Park in NS for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.
Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Caribou Munroes Provincial Park for cancellations is the paid part.
