About
Jutting out into the famous Mira River and mid-way between Sydney and Fortress Louisbourg National Historic Site, Mira River is the perfect escape. It is close enough for day trips into the city or the many attractions found in the area. The quiet water-side setting offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities including camping, walking, boating, canoeing, water skiing, fishing, and swimming. The park offers a 156-site campground (65 Wooded; 41 Partially Wooded; 50 Open), 2 comfort stations (showers and flush toilets), 2 dishwashing stations, picnic area, playground, boat launch, walking trail, and a large unsupervised beach ideal for families to play. Serviced and Unserviced sites are offered. Water taps and vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground. Located on the Brickyard Road, 3 km (2mi.) east of Albert Bridge. The park is 21 km (13 mi.) south of Sydney on Route 22.

Is Mira River Provincial Park fully booked?
A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.
CampHawk watches Mira River Provincial Park in Albert Bridge, NS for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.
Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Mira River Provincial Park for cancellations is the paid part.
