About

This park's rolling hills and deep ridges are all that remain of the glaciers that once covered this area. Despite being a mere 20 minutes away from Winnipeg, the aspen and oak parkland and native prairie provide an ideal habitat for wildlife like deer, waterfowl, and songbirds. In addition to being a natural habitat for wildlife, Birds Hill is a natural gathering place for people. It is home to one of North America's largest folk music events, the Winnipeg Folk Festival, as well as to a range of other year-round recreational activities and sporting events. Paved and natural surface trails enable cyclists, rollerblade enthusiasts, hikers, and cross-country skiers to weave their way through the park. A man-made lake and beach provide for excellent swimming and sun tanning. Birds Hill Campground offers basic, electrical and full service camping.

Is Birds Hill Campground fully booked?

A campground showing no availability is almost never full for good. People cancel — plans change, weather turns, someone books three weekends and keeps one — and the site goes straight back into the booking system, usually without warning and often at odd hours. The reason sold-out campgrounds feel impossible is not that sites never free up; it is that nobody is watching at the moment they do.

CampHawk watches Birds Hill Campground in MB for you. We recheck it every 15 seconds, around the clock, and the moment a site opens we send a text, an email and a push notification, with a link straight to the booking page.

Searching is free and needs no account — the calendar above is live right now. Watching Birds Hill Campground for cancellations is the paid part.
